I'm from out of town, looking for some sort of Asian cuisine near my hotel. I found Jade Kitchen on Yelp. I drove up at about 8:05 and realized that they had adjusted hours due to COVID and closed at 8:00. Disappointed, I pulled into a parking spot to find another place to eat. The car next to me rolled down their window and asked if I was looking to get carry out. I said yes but they are closed. Then to my surprise, 2 people exited the car and waved me in. These 2 awesome people, reopened Jade Kitchen just to make a meal for me. UNBELIEVABLE!! I have worked managing restaurants for 30 years and have never seen that before. I was blown away. On top of that, the food was not just thrown together. It looked and tasted delicious. This was the best example of going over and above for the guest.
They are only doing takeout right now during COVID but they usually do lunch buffet (no dinner buffet)and always have great quality food. Takeouts are always great too.
This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend the black pepper chicken which the waitress recommended to me as her personal favorite. My wife was a big fan of the vegetable delight. She especially loved the tofu. The crab rangoons were perfect and the Chinese donuts were great as well.
Frankly speaking, I am surprised about the cleanness of this place and the temperature of food. There are not many Chinese restaurants can maintain the cleanness and hot food at the same time. The food menu is pretty much the same as the rest of Chinese Restaurants. But the flavor from those hot dishes are great. Also, the food here is not greasy. Love it! The service here is friendly as well. I feel very welcomed. I will be back. :)
Restaurant is carryout only right now. Since it was our first time, got basic favorites: egg drop soup, egg rolls, pot stickers, chicken LoMein and Moo Goo Gai Pan. Everything was delicious and the ingredients were fresh! I really appreciated that the food was seasoned perfectly and not overly salty. The Egg drop soup, Moo Goo and LoMein were the best I've had in a long time. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes!
